93pts Wine Enthusiast
This is the palest possible rosé, with a hard-to-discern hint of pink. On the palate, the wine is now more about mature richness than any connection to rosé. That said, it is a fine wine, ripe with secondary flavors and layers of toast. It is now ready to drink. ROGER VOSS

Ripe strawberry and baked white cherry flavors are set on the creamy mousse of this bright rosé Champagne, underscored by hints of almond biscotti and candied pink grapefruit peel. Clean-cut and minerally on the zesty finish. Drink now through 2027. 416 cases made, 12 cases imported. — AN
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2004 Brut Rosé Cuvée Louise exhibits notes of pastry cream, buttered apples, peaches and dark honey, followed by a medium to full-bodied, moderately fleshy palate with some sweet fruit and dosage at the core that's in tension with the wine's tangy acids, ending with a delicate finish.
Winemaker Notes
The assemblage turned into an exercise blending pleasure and satisfaction, in quest of the best balance between the necessary and sufficient quantity of Bouzy red wine to be married with the classical assemblage of Louise of Avize, Cramant and Aÿ. This is how the assemblage wine imparts all the desired tenderness. During the years in the cellars, the bottles have reached the indispensable maturity that such a wine can claim. Today it is ready, to everybody’s great delight.
On the eye, it presents itself in the glass with a nice colour, marked by a rich blend of intense peach associated with a beautiful golden rose as a sign of great maturity. On the nose, the wine opens itself up very quickly with nice aromas which provide it with a truly gourmand aspect. It takes us into a universe of red fruits, like wild strawberries associated with some notes of raspberry and blackcurrant. It maintains an intense freshness with its slightly spicy hints of “garrigue” scents. On the second nose, floral aromas can be discovered which lead to the development of a most charming creamy character in the finale. On the palate, the harmony is perfect, because there is a fine balance between all the sensations already perceived during the olfaction and the rendering of its mouthfeel. It actually boasts a very beautiful balance, a great finesse, a nice smoothness and it leaves the mouth in a supple and elegant finish with the necessary acidity, through little touches of cranberries.
