Tasting Notes
Its limpid pale yellow color with golden highlights reveals an expressive nose combining floral, white peach and exotic fruit aromas. On the palate, this harmonious, clean wine combines freshness, substance and minerality.
Served at between 10 and 12°C, our Sancerre Blanc La Villaudiere is the perfect accompaniment to aperitifs, shellfish, oysters, fish, a vol-au-vent and, of course, a crottin de Chavignol!
Drink it now and enjoy it for up to 5-6 years.
Winemaker's Notes
The distinctive character of our Sancerre Blanc La Villaudiere is the result of blending 47 parcels from the 3 terroirs of the Sancerre region.
Its freshness and minerality make it a perfect partner for your aperitif, but it also excels with seafood, especially oysters, and goat's cheese.
Winery Notes
Wine runs in the veins of the Reverdy family. For four generations, it has remained inspired by the same values: a hereditary attachment to Val-de-Loire, an instinctive passion for the terroirs and an innate respect for people and work.
Today, Guillaume and Baptiste take over from their father Jean-Marie Reverdy who made the wine estate prosper in Sancerre (18) and Verdigny (18) with his wife Catherine.
