The 2019 Brunello Di Montalcino Riserva pours a saturated red color and is spicy and ripe on the nose with aromas of menthol, Christmas spice, black cherry, and cedar. The palate is full-bodied, with gamey mineral richness, building, ripe tannins, and a snappy lift of acidity on the finish. It's a robust wine to enjoy over the coming 10 years.

Tasting Notes

On the nose it recalls the aromas of ripe red fruit and spices. A strong sip with notes of raspberry, wild blackberry and licorice. A minerality that caresses tannins smoothed by long aging in large barrels. Well-balanced acidity with sapidity that enhances the long and persistent finish. A meditation wine.
