Winemaker Notes

This rare delicacy is produced with grapes from vineyards over 100 years old. A blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha, this red wine is aged in American oak barrels for 24 months, and remains in bottle for an additional 36 months before being sold.

A deep crimson in color, this wine is clean on the nose with spicy aromas of toasted nuts and dried fruit. Well structured and balanced, this Rioja has savory notes of vanilla, rich black cherry, and subtle hints of leather, balsamic, and spice. Enjoy alongside aged cheese, red meats, stews, and roasts.
